NorthCountry Federal Credit Union is hiring for an Evening Cleaning Technician for an evening shift beginning at 4:30 p.m. We are open to either one full-time position (40 hours/week) or two part-time positions (25–29 hours/week each), depending on candidate fit and availability. Our preferred schedule is Monday through Friday. The hourly pay range is $22–$24 per hour, with some flexibility in schedule and compensation for the right candidate.

Ensures the credit union facilities and grounds are maintained in excellent condition and provide a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for members and staff.
 
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
 
1. Maintain cleanliness of credit union branches and perform light maintenance under direction of Facilities Manager, including but not limited to: Sweep, mop, vacuum and dust floors and surfaces; sanitize high-touch areas; empty trash and recycling; clean and disinfect bathrooms; perform periodic deep cleaning assignments; change light bulbs as needed

2. Ensure restrooms and kitchens are stocked with paper products and other needed supplies

3. Identify and report maintenance issues to the Facilities Manager

4. Notify Facilities Manager of needed cleaning products and supplies
5. Follow safety standards which comply with NorthCountry, State and Federal guidelines.
6. Develop an understanding and working knowledge of the credit union history, philosophy, organization, bylaws, policies, procedures and appropriate software systems. Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.

The tracking of numerical data and detailed organizational information, and the careful application of grammar, spelling, and punctuation rules.
2.Dependability - The degree of follow-through on assignments. The degree to which the employee can be counted on to complete assignments in a timely and competent manner.  The degree to which the employee is self-directed, takes initiative, and is proactive.
3.Quality-The level of ability to perform work assignments free from mistakes or errors.
4.Safety - The degree to which safety standards and procedures are followed and accidents are avoided.  The level of demonstrated emphasis on creating and maintaining a safe work environment.
5.Teamwork-The ability to promote positive work relationships with area staff, team members, and supervisors. The degree of problem solving, communication, listening, cooperation, and productivity demonstrated while working with others to successfully meet goals.
 
Knowledge and Skills:
 
ExperienceThree years to five years of similar or related experience.
 
EducationA high school education or GED.
 
Interpersonal SkillsCourtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation.
 
Other SkillsMechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance, for example, cleaning and changing light bulbs. Valid driver's license preferred but not required.
 
Physical RequirementsRegularly lift 25 to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds. Must be able to climb stairs, use a ladder, bend, lift and stand for extended periods.
